Reduce solar heat gain through the glass
Large windows and glazed areas provide natural daylight and views, but they can also result in high solar heat gain. Solar Control Glass Units reduce solar heat gain through the glass and can thereby contribute to improved thermal comfort and reduce the risk of overheating.
We stock Euroglas SILVERSTAR® and Saint-Gobain COOL-LITE® and can also supply other glass types depending on the requirements of the project. Many solar control glass types are available in toughened or laminated versions and can be combined with other functions, such as sound reduction.
Euroglas SILVERSTAR® and Saint-Gobain COOL-LITE® are ranges of solar control glass offering different combinations of light transmittance and g-value. This makes it possible to select the glass according to the project's requirements for daylight, solar control and thermal insulation.
Solar Control Glass Units are suitable for commercial and residential buildings with large glazed areas and buildings with extensive south- and west-facing glazing.
