Microshade® Low-E Glass Units in the Gymnasium at Skovlunde Skole

Microshade® Low-E Glass Units have been installed in the gymnasium at Skovlunde School to improve the indoor climate and create a comfortable environment for both students and staff. The glass units are integrated into the gable end and façade, following the shape of the gymnasium and contributing to a clean and functional architectural expression.

Microshade® Low-E Glass Units reduce solar heat gain during the summer while allowing plenty of natural daylight to enter, creating a bright and welcoming space. Students enjoy a clear view to the outside, while the indoor temperature is maintained at a comfortable level.

The client chose Microshade® over mechanical solar control due to its lower total cost and reduced maintenance requirements, while still providing optimal comfort.
